Maria and Dustin's wedding would be our second (out of 3) event on this day. With our first event all set up and running in North Port, I made my way to Phillippi park to begin setting up. Maria and Dustin chose our Inflatable Photo Booth so I gave myself a little extra time to get there and set up in a good spot.
Phillippi Estate Park also happens to be one of our favorite parks, so I was excited to get set up and have a little extra time to walk around and enjoy the park. Located on the shores of Phillippi Creek, Phillippi is a scenic, 60-acre natural area park south of downtown Sarasota and east of Siesta Key. The park features environmental, recreational, historical and archaeological amenities, including the historic Edson Keith Mansion listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The beauty of the park and facilities can be enjoyed by residents and visitors seven days a week. The facilities are available upon request for corporate, community and cultural events, art exhibits, private receptions and weddings. This day though would be all about Maria and Dustin.
They got married in the Gazebo in a beautiful ceremony and then danced, drank and laughed the night away. The food was homemade by one of their guests, he introduced himself and handed me one of the largest plates of food I had ever seen... it was soooo good! I was so grateful. We are so fortunate to meet so many amazing, warm and friendly people in our work.
